Doesn't totally answer your question but I was recently looking for some decent visvim shorts and ended up giving up and buying these from Wythe. Size 30 fits about like a 2 and I am super happy with them. Cotton-linen blend, short and wide fit.

It’s so hard to find good shorts. I’ve gone through like every decent menswear site
and no one sells wide shorts with a 6-8” inseam

Mainly want fatigue shorts and maybe like a pleated chino. I don’t like linen too much.

anyone know sizing on the 7-hole folks? I have a pair of two engineers in size 9 which fit perfect (maybe slightly narrow). Would a 9.5 in the 7-holes be too big?

My 7 holes fit about half a size bigger, so I wouldn’t size up .5

You mean SS23? The trunk show leaks for that have been out for a week or so. For FW23, those were leaked a while back. I find that red book is the best source for images if you want to look it up.
