The quoted $1500 for Lobb cocodile shoes seem remarkably cheap.
well see the cocodile shoes are mad from male chickens, and although that sounds cheap, do you realize how hard it is to chase a rooster down, and how many cocodile skins it takes to make a pair of shoes.

Heck, I would be happy if someone could clear up the differences between StefanoBi and Stefano Branchini regarding point of production, ownership, design teams, and which labels they provide subcontracting services (i.e. Berluti).

RJMan, I stopped at the Beverly Hills Hermes store about 10 days ago to see if they had John Lobb shoes. They did not, but they _did_ have Hermes "Made in England" shoes which the saleswoman told me are made by John Lobb. Indeed, they looked similar to the Lobbs I've seen in person, both in styling and construction (admittedly only 2 different styles), so I have no reason to doubt her word.
