Every year the same malaise: I am seeking a sturdy everyday shoe for 'business casual' to conservative casual wear in autumn and spring. I would be happy with derbies, bluchers, any sort of brogues, preferably in suede or grain. Perhaps even a serious yuppie trainer, although the Novesta Marathon is the most serious I have found and still not quite to my liking. Yet I fail to find anything that appeals aesthetically, offers a G width, and is priced lower than 200€. It should ideally come with a rubber sole (not crepe) and not be an ankle boot. I am based in Europe.
I previously owned a storm-welt brogue by Sanders which was good but heavy enough to break bones, so perhaps too sturdy for everyday walking. There seems quite a gap between these uber-heavy traditional models and glued fast fashion.

I am not looking for general ideas, such as 'a dark brown chukka boot', but concrete models from shoemakers. I have already checked Loake, Grenson, Sanders, etc.

I know that threads like these pop up ever now and again, but never do they specify models and seldom are they specific for the European market.

Which casual-ish shoes are you actually wearing on an everyday basis these days?
