Classic, straight, double pleated trousers which don't look pre-war and don't taper like contemporary cuts.

I have a couple of old Dockers Classic Fit from the 80's or 90's that I found cheap on eBay. They're my best fitting khakis actually.

Don't know what's the problem, the pictures were definitely there, but no longer visible now. I've experimented this issue mostly with old pictures in various threads.

Berg & Berg have a new cut called the "Antonello" that seems to fit the bill.

Ralph Lauren polo used to produce cuts like this well into the 2000s. I forget the model names, but either you and I can google for their pleated trouser models, with a classic to baggy cut

Unfortunately they have a noticeable taper which is very much in trend right now. Classy guys like their high waists and double pleats but they want the trousers tapered because it looks more tailored and fitted, I suppose. I don't want to look like everybody else, for better or worse. I'm an 80s admirer, which leads me down this path. Other forums have pointed me to Luxire...

I'm the opposite. I need room in the thigh, but I find extra material below the knee to be very sloppy looking (especially if the inseam is long)

Little late to the show, but I've got bigger legs and I've had really great luck with Rota Pantaloni (pic 1), particularly their Rotasport line. Fits tend to be fairly consistent, loads of double pleat options with vintage, and a pretty limited taper. Obviously availabe on NMWA but I've e-thrifted about 8 pairs by now in Italy, all for 10-25 euros each.

I have also had good luck with vintage Brioni (pic 2) and Margaret Howell.

And finally for something a bit more out there, Studio Nicholson has some nice options with really structured fabrics like peached cotton.
