What do you wear underneath fine and thin knit wear?

Hi there

I have a few pieces which are fine and thin knitted in various material compositions (cashmere/merino/cotton/wool/silk) where I am not exactly sure what no wear underneath. For crew neck and some v neck I wear a thin fitted t shirt like Sunspel, but I'm curious what others here wear. Since I sweat (I'm sure most people do too) wearing them without an under shirt seems weird to me as sweat will not be absorbed by knit wear as efficient as a simple t shirt.

I have a thin merino v-neck sweater I will sometimes wear over a regular cotton undershirt. I never wear wool in direct contact with my armpits.

Thank you! That's exactly the issue for me. I do sweat and I found wearing a fitted t shirt is the way to go as I can't think of anything else to wear it with.

One down side of a T shirt is. If your top is quite thin and fitted you can see the T shirt underneath

Uniqlo airism t-shirts.
I wear them under everything.
So thin and slick, you barely are aware of them.
