Hell yeah. Is there a set of leather options or can we propose anything?

Model: Scout boot
Last: 2030
Leather: Some navy roughout- reverse kudu, chamois, etc. depending on stock
Construction: Stitchdown, unless GYW is required for the leather in stock
Sole: Leather wedge w/ white Vibram mini-ripple
Eyelets: 7 eyelets- nickel
Toe: Plain toe, unstructured
Notes: Navy tongue, leather rolled around top opening, pull tab present (not sure if this needs specifying for Scout, but just in case)

If this has been made before, my apologies, I'm late to the game. Totally understand if its not unique enough, or a few years too late :p

Are there any restrictions on pattern/models?
You can propose whatever you like, but we will be restricted to those leathers that are actually in stock, and I've found that it's unfeasible to try to really get a set of leathers from Viberg, since they always have things coming in.

Also, if you choose a softer leather (like the kudu above) and ask for stitchdown, I can nearly guarantee that we'll need to change either the construction, or the leather.

Use your judgement, I guess is what I'm asking. I am on good terms with Brett and Guy, but sometimes it does hurt to ask, and I'm not going to burn through my goodwill asking for things that I already know won't be well received.

I am the master of the doable!

Cheers,

Fok.

My bad, amended for flexibility.

I do like the idea of a slipper. Not sure when I would wear them. Either way, seems like a soft leather would be best.

It's my understanding that kangaroo is light yet strong- why it is prized for soccer shoes- but maybe softness is not part of that equation. Some of the calfs, etc. that Viberg has used have appeared soft and not overly burnished in photos. The horsebutt option for the burgundy suggestion was a concession made by looking at Viberg's Instagram and seeing what leathers are up and coming, trying to avoid suggesting options that aren't feasible. A whole bunch of stabbing in the dark here.

As I continue to make up for lost time in these parts, here's a more traditional suggestion:

Model: Country boot
Last: 1035
Leather: Natural waxed flesh upper, natural chromexcel shaft. Extra bonus if shaft is crust chromexcel.
Construction: Stitchdown
Sole: Commando
Eyelets: 7 antique brass
Toe: Plain toe, partially structured
Notes: Pull tab, dark brown tongue
