Atleast that is what I've read in Carmina thread here where Carmina account answered: "repello" is split and "suede" & "vogue" is reserve suede where "vogue" is thinner but still full grain. From what I understood their "suede" is janus calf suede otherwise it is stated it is "vogue" or "repello" on their website.

Anyone try out the 2030 slippers yet? I’m a 9E brannock so viberg’s suggestion seems to be 8, but reading on withered fig their suggestion would seem to be 7.5.

Yeah Brett mentioned in the stockists video that they chose 360 welt for the collection to “maximize flexibility.” I have no idea if 360 is more flexible than 270 🤷🏻‍♂️

I thought a 360 storm welt was only good for keeping the stitching safe from weather and any other elements you may run into in life. Isn’t there a notion that without a storm welt dirt and debris can build up on your welt stitching?

Yes. You could also request it via email. In the suede selection it’ll say calf, repello or vogue. Calf is usually Janus/full grain.

Curious what you all think.. was the amount of inventory available limited to build “hype”, or is the demand for a new chukka really that high? Most sizes were already sold out when I checked the link this morning.

edit: also damn the stock shell boots are $1300 now??And are US customers getting hit with duties on top of that?

Their tracker is definitely broken. I'll get random emails for restock notices of boots that arent even on the website sometimes.
