Good question! Some of us (like @Mr. Six, iirc), have long been looking for a natural or oatmeal linen-like fresco or tropical wool -- ideally with some subtle heathering or mottling, just like a natural linen would have.

I'd actually prefer a washable wool/poly one for tropical travel. Luxire has some, and Yeossal carried fabric a 60% wool, 40% poly blend, made by a Spanish company, Lanitex.

@Betelgeuse tipped me off to this Dino Filtrate great fabric, which is very close and can be ordered as pants:

I wonder it's possible to order the fabric somewhere.

Glad to hear that 510222 is a good stone color. Do you happen to have pics of the pants made up?

@Concordia, is this the Fox you meant:
I think the 510222 looks fairly close to that Proper Cloth fabric in terms of shade. I took a quick picture earlier, but unfortunately the natural light had gone (please excuse the jacket that it shares a hanger with).

I should have probably taken a photo next to a white shirt as it's quite hard to tell the shade without a reference. In real life it works well as a neutral off-white, but lacks the slight yellow tint of cream, which is what I'm finding most elusive in tropical wool.

I believe it's the fabric used in RTW here: https://blugiallo.com/tailored/trousers-fresco-beige/

Would this work as a summer jacket?

It's from Cerruti's Oxygen bunch.
Seems quite open and pliable...

To me, that bunch was better as a fall jacket. But I’ve never had it made up. I’ve only felt the swatch. It’s an odd fabric. Composition wise, it makes sense for spring / summer. But, by feel, it feels like a fall fabric.

Yeah thanks.. My concern is that it's a bit too thick for something in the summer, but the texture oddly enough feels totally spring/summer to me.

Nice cloth. Colour and weight wise it speaks Spring/Summer, also as fibre composition.
You’ve never felt the bunch. It’s not a spring summer fabric. Maybe is a spring / fall fabric.

I looked around a bit but couldn’t find an answer—what’s the current StyFo approved 100% cotton fabric for khakis (cream, khaki, brown, etc)? Ideally under $50/m.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
