Here is something interesting that is a little more casual leaning but long still. It has no real structure and is reversible so you can play with patterns some. Super soft cloth. I got a good deal on it but I don’t think it quite fits me or my style. If anyone is interested in it DM me. Im 5’11” 157 lbs and size 41 for reference.

Felt like they should've gone raglan instead of dropped shoulder
I agree. However on a broader guy it would be fine. In this style I would almost size down to a small instead of medium to account for it or it just isn't for me.

Hey y'all; for people who have experience with Edward Sexton's overcoats (specifically the greatcoat), was the fit TTS? I'm a bit confused by the measurements on the site because they seem a bit different than other places'. Thanks!

For me it's definitely not flattering at all.

I don't have any experience with their overcoats but do with other tailoring by Edward Sexton. I found I had to size up one size for their tailoring. I'm generally a spot on 40R jacket, 34 trousers but had to go with 42R jacket and 36 trousers in their RTW tailoring.

Upsized here as well, I’m generally 36 jacket but I got their jacket based of 38 (it was MTO based of 38 and mostly just chopping legnth). When Nina was visiting last time she brought the greatcoat in 40 fit over jacket and more A line then it appeared elsewhere would like to try 38 to confirm though.

My try on pictures in 40 (sleeve would need be shorten a bit)

So I got that Todd Snyder x PWVC greatcoat to try on, and I like it a lot, but I noticed some wrinkling on one side near the bottom of the coat. Should I be concerned about underlying problems with the fabric since it's brand new, or is that the sort of thing a press could fix?

EDIT: For reference, the jacket is unstructured and made of 800 gsm wool.

Got any shots from the front? How does it feel sizing-wise? Is the fabric maybe pulling somewhere?

That looks like simple wrinkling to me. It's a beautiful coat.
