I’ve bought numerous SC shoes on personal last over the years. If you’ve not had similar fit issues with other shoes, there surely is a problem. Did the seller by RTW or have his last adjusted to his specs? I‘d recommend sending the shoes back to SC and taking the hit for the charge for a modified last. Any work done by someone other than SC will likely not be your satisfaction. SC is a small business, maybe 1500 pairs produced per year. They want you to be not only satisfied but thrilled. Philip will bend over backward to assure that they fit as well as is possible. Good luck.

Arrived just in time for boot season. Kudu suede is awesome and I am now addicted to the Gumlite Vibram sole.

Has anyone ordered any shoes with Kudu 076 suede?? The ones i got are obviously very nice, but i'm not getting any of the tobacco tones that i see online and i've tried everything to recreate the lighting. They said its a photography issue and that the leather has not changed, but i think mine are darker than all i've seen. Does anyone else have any recent pics of KUD076???

I was about to order a pair myself, and wanted to achieve the same outcome as the shoes in the IG picture you linked. And much less like what yours turned out to be. Did you confirm that the ones in the pic are Kudu 076?

That really sucks. Big part of their appeal and the reason for ordering them to begin with is really the color/leather. Not about to spend $1500 for chukka boots only to be left hugely disappointed when I receive them.

I hate to spoil it for you but I was disappointed. The consensus seemed to be that the pictures you see online and on Instagram and such have a filter that intensified the color. I thought mine were just a boring brown. But they were also a half size bigger than I had expected. Had they fit, I would have kept them nonetheless.

Was that your first pair of StC?

They allowed you to return them even though it was an MTO, or you sold themto someone else? [Actually I saw your listing, you must have taken a big hit on those since you were selling the half the price. That sucks]

Also, why did you choose not to go with the riva last like in the other pics, you did not like the toe puff? I feel it fits well this particular boot. [Actually, that is the riva last, was not too clear from the pics at first]
