Just got few sportcoats from S&M in the last week and they are all fantastic with Full canvas construction.

Fox Brown Prince of Wales Check - Neo Cut (needed sleeve alteration, already picked up from the tailor and love the darker brown shade)

Fox Green Prince of Wales Check Tweed - Neo Cut (arrived today, a very dark green and looks very versatile to wear)

Sand Donegal Twill - Neo Cut (arrived last week and really like the texture and plan to wear it in Spring/Summer)

Arrived home to find my new wool/cashmere G-1 jacket. Beautiful fabric and construction. No QC issues, and the 44 fit me perfectly. I would have been happy at $400, but on sale + a flash sale brought it down to 262 bones or clams or whatever you call them.

Thank you, the Sand Donegal one feels heftier than the wool silk linen blends and hopsack fabrics. I am hoping the wool linen blend and full canvas of this sportcoat will help it drape better than the pure linen sportcoats. It’s quite unique with donegal effect up close but from far is not that loud.

Purchased the Light Wash Chambray

Overall a nice fabric but these will be going back for 2 reasons:

1. Wildly inconsistent sizing when compared to my other sport shirts (ordered a slim and contemporary in my regular size)
2. Very uneven wash. The stock pic shows a homogenous blue, but the shirts I received had varying areas of very dark blue to very light blue.

Curious, when you say inconsistent sizing did they run small or large? Or just different in multiple areas? I was looking at getting the medium wash but now I am wondering.

I found both the slim and contemp to run smaller. I speculate they pre-washed these to handle the shrink issues from previous iterations and ended up with smaller than expected shirts.

this is the second picture I see of the V sweater worn, and feel the actual V is too thick/raised? great fit otherwise.
