Out of curiosity, what's your shoulder width?
I'm not really sure. It's been too long since I was measured by a professional to remember exactly what it was. I just know that jackets/coats with a shoulder width of about 18.1-18.7" tend to look best (for jackets with minimal or no padding), although I have jackets as narrow as 17.75" that still look okay as well (but quite rounded).

The no padding makes shoulders more forgiving. I have a made to measure that looks worse than spier because of too much padding despite narrower width

The return information tab for USA is not working on S&M’s website. Do they still offer free returns from US for first suit purchase? Was planning to order a couple to see which one fits, if their return policy didn’t change. Thank you.

I haven't ordered a suit from S&M in a bit. Does anyone know if they still do trouser substitutions (instead of the standard Drop 6)? They used to have this info on a page somewhere on the website but I can't find it anymore.

I Believe They Still Do, Place Your Swap Request In The Notes, And Only If In Stock. I Would Email (cs) And Request That They Pull Them In Advance!!!

I have not paid attention to formal wear since 2019 but I'm supposedly going to a wedding on my wife's side of the family in the summer.

I didn't realize blue/navy suits were so popular. You have - Postal Blue, bright navy, Ink blue, and finally navy, Navy shark skin, etc

And then for shirting collars, you have Full spread, classic spread, Italian full spread, Italian spread, Italian button down (I love this one), button down

I don't even remember what I wore for my wedding if it was a regular spread or full spread.
