Royal Oud is the closest I've come to buying a bottle of Creed, but alas, there are so many better options for less expense. Plus, I just can't support a brand founded by a disingenuous sleezeball like Olivier Creed.

Today: Creed Royal Oud.

I’ve been dipping my toe into Creed. I’ve found that like with most houses, there are at most one or two I like enough to buy, with the others being variations that I don’t like as much.

For Creed, those two are Royal Oud and Green Irish Tweed. Though I’d like to try Erolfa at some point.
Mine are Himalaya and Aventus. I still like them quite a bit, but I wore them A LOT around 10-15 years ago because they were the only bottles I had.

Today is Christian Dior Sauvage Elixir. It's a little crazy how much I enjoy this one considering I hate all the other versions of Sauvage.

Sprayed some Duro on my wrist to try it out while window shopping today... Definitely NOT my cup of tea, it turns out.

A female friend gave me a hug greeting, told me I smelled good, and asked me what I was wearing. The fragrance? PDM Layton. I almost never get complimented on my scent, and this is the second compliment I've received for Layton. I know some niche fragrance snobs think Layton is basic, but women like basic.
