Santa Fe wedding

I have a wedding to attend as a guest in Santa Fe in late September 2021. I do not want to wear a blue blazer. I would like to go with a blazer or suit that expresses a less formal attitude. But I am not from Santa Fe so I do not know what is customary to wear at weddings. It will be a traditional wedding, not casual. Also, the weather, it could be a tad chilly, but again I am not sure. I am thinking light "summer colors" colors but again unsure. I am of slim build. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Santa Fe is 7200 feet above sea level. Avg September high is 74F. Too cold for real summer numbers like cream linen or lollipop seersucker. I'd go for a tan, brown, green, or medium/light blue suit. Those are all more casual than dark blue or gray. Light wool, wool/linen, wool/silk/linen, linen/silk, wool/mohair, or beefier linens and cottons would all be worth considering for fibers, especially if you'll be outdoors in the evening.

I'd go for brown or oxblood shoes, shirt with some color in it, and a wedding tie.

IDK. If the wedding is traditional as you say, it is probably best to wear something traditional, unless you know that something more colorful would be appropriate. Remember, you are a guest, not the center of attention.

I like to wear clothes that are formal, subtle, yet a bit less corporate and a bit more unusual to weddings. Think double breasted navy suit instead of single breasted; dark brown suede oxfords (if during the day) instead of calfskin, a white linen pocket square, and a wedding tie. I think that sort of outfit is much more understated.

Anglo Traditional or Santa Fe Traditional ?
For the latter, here's a place to start:

If we're talking about the old nuevomexicano elite of Santa Fe/New Mexico, this would be a bit more like traditional attire. Toney Anaya and Miguel Antonio Otero. If we're talking indigenistas, Pueblos, or Apache, it's a different ballgame.
