Any recommendations on where could i purchase a decent RTW overcoat in London? I have long arms, which typically causes a problem with the sleeve length. So places that carry long sizes (like a 36L or 38L) or can do in store alterations would be great. Thanks!

Cordings or perhaps find a Gloverall retailer. Latter is known for duffles and peacoats, but they make some very nice Chesterfield overcoats.

Never been to this shop. It does seem like Cordings, where I have shopped
(for Shirts).

Ivertere is also back in business with a limited selection, so far.
I have one of their great coats from decades ago. Super high
quality.

Thanks a lot for all the recommendations. I checked Cordings and Oliver Brown and the staff in both were friendly and had a great selection of coats, unfortunately their long sizes had short sleeves that didn't work out for me. Cordings sleeves were off by a lot (4") while Oliver Brown's sleeves were off by (2") and they said that they probably can get an extra half an inch using their own tailor but not more.

So for now it seems that i'll have to find a MTM or bespoke option in NYC where i live.

It might be worth checking out Ede and Ravenscroft, and New & Lingwood.

Neither Bespoke nor MTM (that I am aware of) but a vast selection of traditional high quality
overcoats in no so nearby Buffalo:

Crombie of course.
(Just checked apparently they don’t do RTW anymore?)

Cordings is very good quality, I don’t have one of their overcoats but a Shetland blazer.
