Yesterday arrived a pair of Pembrokes from Bodileys, as always amazing service. This shoes does not need presentation, the unusual thing is that they are in dark brown waxy.

I am posting also a couple of pictures of the Bodiley´s Mayfair that is a C&J Swansea in dark brown grain. The Swansea (last 341) pattern is exact with the Pembroke (last 325). The only difference is in the medallion.

I am also adding a side by side picture with the great Church's Grafton. Hugo Jacomet (The Parisian Gentleman) had warm words for both models.

Since I've started buying C&J from Bodileys (Sarah is the BEST), I've wondered about their house label, assuming they're made by Crockett. Thanks for confirming that.

I have the Bodily's Bond derby. One of the most comfortable pair of shoes i own.

got these Cardiffs yesterday. glad I got them at a bricks and mortar place, as I had to size up from typical UK10.5 to 11 (below a crude comparison of the 240 last Peal and Co in 11.5D, which fits well). The colour is more of a cognac, the display looked more of a Dijon Mustard sort of tan, I don't know if it is natural variance or a model change. I'm looking forward to the patina on these.

Where did you find them? I thought they were discontinued.
