Calling all penny loafer experts! I saw these loafers in this Buck Mason post and I am trying to identify them and have not had luck searching myself. I have attached higher-resolution images to help identify them.
The closest to them I can identify is maybe a vintage Bass Weejun Penny loafer. But there are a few noticeable differences in the details that do not match.
Unique things I have noticed in these loafers differentiate them:
More visible shot of the rear heel logo mark? (my eyes maybe seeing "bass" in the middle of the letters?:
This MENS 1936 LOGAN FLAT STRAP WEEJUNS LOAFER is the closest I found, but the double stitching around the half moon penny slot and direct integration over the entire leather upper is different. As well as no logo mark on the rear heel.
Any help in solving this mystery and helping me identify (and potentially source) these loafers would be much appreciated!
Thank you for any help/insight you can lend to what these loafers are! Cheers!

- The "penny slot" is a half moon shape and not the classic "whale tail"
- The penny slot appears directly integrated into the leather upper and not in a separate "band" piece over the leather upper.
- Double stitching around the entire half-moon penny slot.
- Classic moc-stitching appears like the bass weejun + Beefroll stitching
- There is some sort of logomark in a circle cut-out on the heel of the loafer:
