Wonderful Paul Stuart "Stuart Ltd" sport coat.
This sport coat was produced by Oxxford Clothes for Paul Stuart's top range Stuart Ltd. line.

It is made to the highest quality standard, as you would expect from Oxxford. All hand tailored, full canvas construction, hand sewn buttonholes, etc. Really a tailoring masterpiece.
Features 2 button front with dual/side vents.

Brand new, unworn.
Labeled sz 38 R.
Measures 20" armpit to armpit

Hi Mr G. I saw this post and wanted to ask you about the Paul Stuart LTD line. There is no information on the internet about it. I found a PS Ltd x Oxxford suit on ebay and couldn't get any history about the line. Would you mind sharing what you know about it? I see from your post it's considered a top range line. Thanks.

Hello, I don’t particularly know much about it but it was/is the high end hand tailored line. The standard Paul Stuart garments made by Samuelsohn are very nice but these LTD ones are more of a fully handmade garment with hand sewn buttonholes etc. They would use different makers. I don’t think Oxxford was very common. I recall seeing more Italian labels like Isaia, etc. Same thing with their “Stuart’s Choice” handmade shoes. Different makers, whoever they struck a deal with at the time, even Gaziano and Girling at one point.

This particular one by Oxxford was every bit as nice as a regular Oxxford offering, just had the Paul Stuart label instead. I was upset it wasn’t my size, would have liked to keep it!
