Good evening,

My name is Alexander, and I'm a young classic menswear enthusiast. Currently, I'm rebuilding my wardrobe and want to hear some suggestions on affordable, but good quality brands. Collaro, Spier & MacKay, Uniqlo seems to be the best of what I've read about. Would be grateful if some of you suggested your favourite brands, RTW and MTM.

Looking for:

1. Formal/Smart casual suits (300-450 euro)
2. Dress/Oxford shirts (up to 100 euro)
3. Long double-breasted coats (300-500 euro)
4. High-waisted trousers (100-200 euro)

PS. I'm not a bit fan of jeans, sneakers and t-shirts. Sorry, just not my style.

Thanks ahead!

I’d suggest spending some time on the forum to get a better feel for the styles and brands, available. A fast answer, isn’t really possible.
I just want to hear some suggestions, after I would definitely check recommended brands. But thank you for your reply, Notdos, will take my time. It is a nice opportunity to save some money as well.

For 4, I'd say Natalino, Berg & Berg, Scavini, Suit Supply (legs might be too slim) and Pini Parma (not true high-rise).

I’m not in the EU so I’m sorry I just don’t know what the market is like their, but I’m sensing something off with your price points. You’re open to buying pants that cost as much as 50% of the cost of a suit? There seems to be a lack of proportionality to your price points.

I usually wear trousers without any jacket, especially in the summer. But I see your point and I will rewatch this price range. Thank you, Phileas!

Lands End, Sunspel, John Smedley, Cordings, John Henric, Walter Slater, Harvie and Hudson, Smyth and Gibson. There are lots of great brands.
