Watching a BBC4 TOTP repeat from November 1978 on Friday and noticed these lads in the crowd,

I scored one of those with the leather collar off eBay a few years ago. The fit was very small and short to the point that I didn’t wear it much. Also the grade of suede was noticeably different from one panel to the next.
Someone on the Modculture (RIP) forum tipped me off to ASOS selling their own version at a decent price which I jumped on. Nicer more uniform suede, nicer colour (sort of camel tan a bit less yellow-y that Levi’s) and the fit was perfect. Sold the Levi’s one back on eBay and broke even or maybe even came out slightly ahead. The Asos one doesn’t have a leather collar which would offer a bit more protection so I make sure to have a shirt collar of some kind on to avoid messing it up! So so far so good!

That’s pretty nice actually. I dig the non-leather collar— but defo understand one would need to wear a collared shirt in order to not stain the suede.

Great track selection this week, I was just wondering if it was possible for Kate's voice to be a little louder. I don't know if it's because I'm not used to american accents, but I sometimes have a hard time understanding what she says, especially at such a relatively low volume compared to the tracks.
