Not exactly what I was looking for. DH is too girlfriend skinny. (Hey PB, what are you doing wearing skinny jeans? Isn't that like so 2010?? ) I was looking for the type of jean I saw around Italy that had interesting washes and fits but a different look and vibe than classic American or Japanese workwear, but wasn't a Dior/Tom Ford or other mainline international fashion brand jean either. I guess my search continues. Maybe it no longer exists?

have you checked out Incotex sky slim?

the less fancy dress must be hurting their business. I wonder how subsidized they are to remain afloat?
who owns them to subsidise them?

I wouldn’t think they are subsidized by anyone. They make excellent casual wear as well as CM.

Indeed. I really like their Duffle Coat. The label appears to be Invertere (you can see "since 1904") which IIRC had gone out of business 5 years ago. Anyone know the update on the Invertere brand?
Yes the brand was bought out a few years ago and they’ve been milking it for a bit now. They show at Pitti. They didn’t buy a factory so they have the designs made somewhere for them.

no idea, but got to be pretty subsidized... though on a different note Phineas cole has way too many makers sizing is all different with inconsistent aesthetics...

they're owned by a large japanese company, mitsui.
Are they heavily subsidized then? The store here in DC is rarely busy but my visits there are few. I really like their wares but generally buy online.

There is a whole Japanese only paul stuart that has normal stuff you see and a lower tier, feels like the NYC store was there to keep the images if you ask me...

Mark Rykken mentioned the DC store loses a lot of money due to the city center foot traffic.
Bad location on that outside corner? Does anyone actually walk around window shopping at City Center and then actually purchase anything? Stuff is fairly high-end for an impulse buy.
