Talking of in stock fabrics, @luxire when might we expect the additional colours of the linen-cotton canvas please?

When ordering dress shirts from Luxire, is it best to take measurements from your body OR a well fitting shirt?

My recommendation would be sending it in to them along with any adjustments you'd like to make. It will come out perfect without any room for measurement issues.

Luxire wasn't kidding when they said they were updating the site.
Came here to say the exact same thing!
Despite having learnt how to use the old page, and navigating through the quirks - I really enjoy the look and feel of the new site.

Well done Luxire!

Next up, consolidating the selection and prices between the .com and .de pages.

You can now request Supercrease permanent crease for your pants. Choose in the pants customization screen, additional options

Can we customize the fit on MTO pants?

If I choose my waist, inseam, and details but don't go full MTM, what's the standard fit like? I prefer a traditional American style, higher rise and classic cut.

Is the default a slimmer fit?

It's probably better to query that by e-mail. The first time I ordered a shirt (MTM) from Luxire, I just entered body measurements. The result was a very close fit.
I've had great luck with shirts but my lone MTM pants did not come out so well. Required quite a bit of work from my tailor and still the fit isn't ideal.

If the fit of the initial garment is not as desired, it is advisable to contact us.
We ask for certain images of yours wearing these garments.

Our team of fit experts, analyze the fit, suggest and discuss changes with you. The next garment usually fits closer to your expectations.

The advantage of this process is that after it is done, we have your perfect fit pattern. You may never have to wear ill fitting garments.

I'm looking for a fabric recommendation - I need a white summer-weight shirt that's opaque, will work on its own with jeans, chinos, or dress pants, and looks good under a full-zip sweater / casual jacket.

These look best to me, but I'm open to recommendations.....what say you all? Anyone have any of these, or any others to recommend?

The brembana fabrics I already have are excellent, so this one is the front runner - A little worried it will be too shiny - I need matte.

Looks more matte, I wonder if the collar would stand up under a sweater or jacket. COuld fuse collar I suppose

This one could work, but I wonder about opacity.

THank you in advance!

Hey,

I’m going to send a pair of RL Andrew pants to Luxire to be copied, it’ll be my first ever order.

Anyone have any advice or done anything similar recently and can share their experience with the materials, please?

I would like the pants to be for the summer. So nice and light.

I was thinking the 13oz mixed cotton linen

https://luxire.com/products/linen-cotton-olive-green?_pos=7&_sid=1aa97f9b4&_ss=r

There’s also the 15oz but I think that may be too heavy

Any suggestions appreciated
