http://www.archive.org/details/etree Just discovered this great source of great quality (MP3, FLAC, 24-bit) bootleg recordings of live shows (both past and recent), often straight from the soundboard (so no crappy handheld tape recorders). I just downloaded a bunch of Elliott Smith live shows... Best of all, it's completely free and legal to download! And loads of different listening/downloading options (flash player, m3u streaming, individual song download, entire show download). So great.

I love both of those sites. The Stevie Wonder shows from the 70's on Wolfgang's Vault are not to be missed.

Summer before last the Archive had to remove all of the Dead's shows, but the outcry was so loud, they were quickly put back up with soundboards being stream only and the aud recordings downloadable. It's understandable as they release live shows all the time, but if Zeppelin is going to get all snippy about it the least they could do is release more live stuff. Neil Young is finally getting the live thing going, can't wait to get Live at Massey Hall!

Another good site is BT Etree

Start there.

Also, check the reviews section of the forum. I just uploaded a whole bunch of new shows that I haven't posted live on the main site yet, but I did link to them from the review threads
