Pls help me find a RED trench/rain coat. Looking for a knee length mid weight/removable liner. Budget is appr $600. Flat or flap pockets would also be a plus(flat/flap vs the "vertical" style pocket that you see on many trenches.) No belts needed but will consider.....I'm in NY!
Tks in adv...

Are you buying for yourself? My missus has a red trench from Burberry and I am pretty sure that they still have some in stock. But that's women's.

There's a beautiful looking scarlet red Boss trench (not quite knee length) advertised in the layout pages in the front of the March GQ. I thought it looked fantastic. Snooped around on the Boss website and it's made of nylon, looks more orange and IIRC was in the region of $500 all of which deflated my enthusiasm somewhat.

Please post or PM me your findings. The picture in GQ looks great and nearly hooked me in, but not so thrilled with what I found.

That would make us accomplices to this crime. I will not help you. Ask Satan. I'm sure he's selling on discount.

We actually have a limited run of red trenches & yellow macs in our stock-room. For the overall look/aesthetic:

Try Burberry Prorsum or Mackintosh (or one of the Mac collaborations).

I still don't understand why you all think a red trench would look good... sounds hideous.

Maybe on a chick, if I had a Carmen Sandiego fetish.

Indeed. I hope a matching red hat is purchased with this coat.
