I just noticed the dog drool on right shoe in the photo I took this morning

Cognac Cap Toe Boots for the afternoon today, dog hasn't slobbered on these (yet)

Rain chance 70% this afternoon, that calls for rubber soles.

No rain yet, so sitting on deck, watching laundry dry and hummingbirds feed at the feeders. It doesn't get much better than this And once again, I'm the only one on the GS thread .

I was actually in my closet staring at my shoes and trying to figure out what pairs I'm taking to Japan in a couple weeks. The early leaders are the Mahogany Indys and the Grant Stone captoes or possibly the GS Cognac shell PTB's. If it looks like it will be rainy (like it was for 8 of 11 days on my annual visit a coupe years ago), I may just run the pebbled Ottawas and something else.

Similar comfort for most people vs. the Barrie last. I think Leo has a touch more room in the toe and a bit more mid-foot support than Barrie, which gives it a (slight) edge for me.

Feet and lasts are complicated, but Grant Stone seems to be diligent about designing for fit and comfort.
