Trousers don't seem so bad to me that they'd neccessitate a return.

Nearly all RTW trousers have an overly long back rise because that's how trousers are built to sell to a market. So this is a common alteration almost anyone will need to get done.

Don't know if other models would fit him better through the hips.
I'll keep the pants. The price is good (even after some alterations). I'll order one from Berg&Berg next. Let's see how they fit. Any other brand recommendations in that price range?

Unfortunately not very familiar with the ready-to-wear market that's readily available in Europe.

Also if you’re in Germany, wait for Michael Jondral’s rota go on sale? Still pricier but if fit is good save you some of the alteration.

I see where you are going. I have a very good tailor where I live (Hamburg, Germany). I‘m gonna ask him what he thinks and what it‘s gonna cost. But I guess at some point I‘ll have a look into bespoke.
When you talk to your tailor, be sure just to point out the areas that you think could be improved. Let him recommend whether/how to address them. I will say that I am not convinced you need to change the back rise. I think the trousers are tight in the seat; if you let that out and possibly widen the top of the thighs a bit, that may fix things.

I have from a range of places: Natalino, Berg&Berg, Rota, Spier, Anglo-Italian, Ring Jacket etc. and I find that my trousers from Natalino fit best (I also have fuller cut American stuff than also fits well, but that's a slightly different sort of offering).

As far as the back rise goes, sometimes just pulling your pants up in the back fixes the problem. As far as tightness in the hips goes, I'd recommend sizing up. I generally size up with trousers and then get the waist taken in. I find this results in a cleaner and more comfortable fit.

Also, the flannel you got isn't the best-draping fabric in the world, so things might just look a little messy because of that. Something like their cavalry twill or covert cloth trousers will sit better.

Hey guys! I just bought a sport jacket (52) and a flannel trouser (50) from Natalino and wanted to ask about your opinion on the fit. I think the trouser fits perfectly. In my opinion, the jacket fits nicely in the shoulders, sleeves are unfinished but I wouldn't shorten them, but I would have the waist sewn tighter. What do you think?
Hi! I think the outift fits really well considering it’s RTW

How would you compare the sizing and the lenght with Suitsupply and Natalino jackets? I have a 48S (EU) Havana suitsupply jacket and I’m between getting a 46 or a 48 size from Natalino.
