Cooper A-2 Goatskin

Cleaning closet, starting with my flight jackets.

First up, my Cooper A-2 in seal brown goatskin.

Great used condition! The only real wear I can see is the smooshing of the collar and a tiny loss of dye at the shell next to the cuff. Some light pilling/napping of the ribbed knit cuffs and hems. Oh, and the bottom of the zipper fabric strip is scuffed a little but that does not impact the zipper working smoothly. All snaps work just fine as well. There is a little honest wear to the 50/50 poly/cotton lining but no rips, tears, holes just some light pilling.

This is the traditional A-2, with patch pockets but no side entry. Epaulets, snap down collar, Ideal zipper, one piece back. The works. Very sweet jacket. Might not let it go, depends on what happens with the others...

Marked 42, and very traditional trim fit. Measurements:

Chest: 46", with a tapered waist.
Shoulder to shoulder: 21"
Shoulder to cuff: 24.5"
Overall length from base of collar to back hem: 24.5"

For reference, I will usually wear a 42r coat and this fit is right in line.
