Good evening,
I haven't purchased a nice pair of sneakers in decades, but I believe that the time has arrived. I see all of these really cool new brands--e.g., Greats, Hoff, Veja, Morjas, etc.--that I never even heard of until I started searching a few hours ago. So, where to begin? What are your favorites? (I wish I could go to a sneaker store and try them on side-by-side, but most of these brands are direct-to-consumer or boutique, and aren't carried by the larger dept. stores...)
Please share brands/sneakers that are high quality (made in countries with reputations for quality, such as Italy, US, UK, Japan, Portugal, etc.), stylish, comfortable, and affordable (nothing over, say, 300 USD, MRSP).
(FWIW, I have pretty wide feet. So if any of the above or similar brands make wide sneakers, let me know.)
