My first post about @R.M.Williams. These Goodyear welted Chelsea boots are known to be one of the best boots in the world. Whilst I was being fitted out in the New Bond Street store I met several guys who had had the boots for over 6 years and they all said you can screw them up and do what you like. You can't destroy them. They were all raving about how special they are to them even after several years of wear. The boots are Goodyear welted and also are made from a single piece of leather so they should fit the foot like a glove after a few wears, but trust me they were comfy for the get go! I have never tried on boots that are as comfy as these from the first wear.
