I took this to be @SpooPoker 's main point by asking the marriage question.
It is/was, I acknowledged and commented on that fact prior... I merely included it in my warning label to add a sentence long exclamation point, to an already lengthy and extensive, detailed list of every reason he should turn and run. Essentially meant to be a Post Script to my body dramatizing my sincerity by letting the core of what was written sink in, then reiterating that horrific ******* bomb as a little P.S in case he forgot admistd the litnay of perhaps equally notable and important other reasons as to why this would be a poor decision.,Just flexin the flair for penmanship that I never in my llife, ever possessed.

Shipping question -- how screwed am I?

I sold a Filson bag a couple weeks back, did my usual ship-USPS-Prio-through-eBay thing, USPS picked up from my house and was scanned on pickup, scanned at the next way station... and has disappeared. No scans since 2/27, scheduled delivery of 2/29. Did it evaporate because Leap Day? The buyer says he's spoken to his local PO and has already started with "the package is going to end up in the Atlanta auction facility and be destroyed in 90 days wtf" schpiel. I had it packed in a regular cardboard box, with the eBay label properly taped on. The exterior of the box /did/ have markings from where it came from (in this case a light fixture) so hopefully that helps in identification, but I'm a bit nervous.

The Stafford ones don't sell for as much as the HS&M coats. However, we have all passed up these $1.99 polyester/wool abominations. They always do well before the masters tournament (especially if you put master's green in the title).

This was tonight's jacket (a little lower than normal).

Boss!

I haven't seen any in ages round here...used to see them pretty regularly.

Doubt my old bud will make the Masters this year - he's currently ranked #121 FedEx and #164 worldwide, which seems amazing but unless you've been in the top 10 or 20 hardly anyone has heard of you (him).

Whether he's famous or not, it's still amazing.

I would assume Rancourt but I have no way of proving that.

I had a buyer on ebay send me offers along with SEVERAL emails begging me to take a lower offer on a Lacoste Harrington jacket. I finally relented and then an unpaid item case had to be opened. They paid and also sent an email saying:

"This jacket is real isn't it ??? I've never seen a label stating made in Hong Kong."

At first, I just dismissed it because LOTS of things have labels saying made in Hong Kong. But, then I started to wonder if i had overlooked something -- not about the hong kong label. But, just to make sure that this Lacoste was real.

Any thoughts?

It's real, NobleProfessor. Someone can correct me if I am wrong. But, I believe that label is from the late 60's to early-mid 70's.

Thanks! Also thanks to @1ofTheCoolKids for sending me some documentation that proves they made these in Hong Kong starting in 1975. I sent it to buyer just to be proactive and hopefully preempt any issue!

By the way has anyone noticed a big upturn in international buyers? I had to get 12 things shipped today and 3/4 of them were international. Last week I had 3-4 things going overseas too. I don't remember ever selling this much in a short period of time to international buyers.

Likely real, and from the era when IZOD was licensing the name/brand for Lacoste.

Hello, chaps!

Somewhere out there, there is (I hear) a web site with a name that rhymes with 'hailed'. If there was such a thing -- and I'm not saying for certain there is -- is this a place we could discuss, safely, the trials and tribulations of that ignominious site?

Asking for a friend.
