They are 100% not hand-sewn from the picture, another false advertisement by Archibald.

For the leather and construction, they are a pretty poor value compared to most other brands on the market.

My gloves finally arrived. They took 2 month. They are TTS acogdimg the web meassurments guide and buttery soft. The only con I found on my quick análisis are a couple of loose threads inside the right glove. my first three fingers fit really well and the last two fingers are larger than my actual fingers.
if anyone has questions feel free to make them.
Did you find some loose threads as in stitching or on the cashmere bit?

We are actually developing a whole new range of gloves. These are purchased from a rather famous maker in Florence where many high end niche brands buy from (so you will find the same piece available from a few famous names) but we actually what to do entirely new ones where the fingers arent closed inwards but rather the flares are open - an aesthetic choice more than anything else.

Should we make an SF glove? @cindyxarchibald

We actually have on-ready a new glovemaker (the current offering will remain as a core offering as its a traditional item many love) so we could in theory create the perfect glove, fully produced from scratch with the community.

Have a look at Hungarian glove-makers of the city "Pécs", they offer better quality than most Italian makers.
Regarding what XCV2016 said: these are indeed not hand-sewn gloves. They have a hand sewn portion that you can see on this picture where the leather is "tucked under" and the lining is hand-sewn to it, but the majority of the construction is machine-sewn (not like its any worse than hand-sewing, im just saying what it is):

A fully hand-sewn construction looks like this (notice the size of the stitches and their unevenness):

Area poster who joined the forum 40 minutes ago decides to troll. This forum would be so much better with mandatory waiting periods before being able to post.

Nope. But I won't be surprised if there's another scam brewing.

Please just stop it. You are not going to achieve anything with this attitude and non-constructive comments.
Note to yourself that you are not going to buy anything from AOL ever and move on with your life.

Thanks so much for the suggestion, just read all about the brand Hamerli and the making of gloves in Pécs ... team has already established contact.

Hi @Rewiag,

Thank you for suggesting these Hungarian glove makers - they truly encompass the beauty of handmade gloves.

I ment lining threads.
they most centantly don’t look handstitched, but I wasn’t expecting them to be. I didn’t read the description fully.
if you want to talk about the leather it is certamtly soft and has a good feel but I don’t think it is full grain ( neither do I know if that matters)

PS I’m more than willing to compare this pair with another if you want some external input.

Hi @Rewiag,

Thank you for suggesting these Hungarian glove makers - they truly encompass the beauty of handmade gloves.
Glad you like them :)
They can even do one-piece pattern peccary, which is something not many glovemakers dare to offer for it being one of the hardest feats of artisan glovemaking (it costs a fortune thou, so likely not going to be your main product line :) )

If you want to offer something a bit more unique, ask them to do one-piece pattern, hand-sewn gloves of "regular" nappa leather, that would already put you above any of the luxury brands.

I understood the issue with one piece peccary is that a lot of hides will just not be good enough. It’s not a matter of craft...not an expert so might be wrong
