I really love vodka mixers and I'm kinda addicted to Sonic Screwdriver (the one you make with Blue Curacao). A friend recommended Black Russian as he knows that I love coffee just as much as vodka :D What would be your personal best vodka mixer?

I like to enjoy cranberry juice and vodka are all that I need for a simple yet effective drink. Depending on the amount, the cranberry can be a light accompaniment or it can completely mask the cheap vodka.

2:1 with Lillet Blanc and a dash of Luxardo maraschino, lemon peel, expressed over the top, is the vodka version of my signature cocktail, the White Martini.

Depends on the base material for the spirit. The masculine black pepper tones of a rye vodka plays very differently with mixers than say, the very feminine and citrusy flavors you'll find in most corn vodkas. New vs Old world makes a large difference as well.

The best vodka drink I've ever had was made from a pot-distilled vodka made from raw wild honey rathar than grain, mixed with a barspoon of buckwheat honey syrup, which brought a long-lingering, floral spice to it. I found playing around with it after that the buckwheat honey (the good stuff should be dark, almost like molassas) also played very nicely with rye or rye+'s. Sobieski is a personal (shockingly affordable) favorite, as is Jewel of Russia's standard bottling.
