They're reverse burgundy shell cordovan Daltons on the 1757 last (iirc). They were made for him at an event earlier this year.

Very close and a good guess. But these are not the same boots.

Third (or fourth?) outing for my first pair of AEs purchased without an employee discount since 2014 (and not-so-subtle reminders to vacuum the carpet in my office/guest room and maybe go out in the sun sometimes).

Somebody returned a pair of these Wilder Venetians shortly before Charleston closed, and I was impressed with how soft and supple they were. Fast-forward eight months or so, a pair pops up on Dabondo's eBay storefront that looked like they'd been worn once, and I couldn't say no. They may have some slightly wonky wrinkles at the toes, but they'll make for a perfect pair of relaxed summer beaters.

I got another pair of 5th Avenues the other day. This is my second pair of AE in general, with my first being Walnut 5th Aves. Can't wait to wear these with a suit.

It really is incredible how the shell here looks so similar to Dublin, though. Love the lug.

My third pair of shell Landons just arrived! I have them in chili and the navy landsharks, thanks to Jason and Ashley in Charleston, and these jet-black beauties just arrived with assistance from the Scottsdale store.

I’m not a fan of the flat laces that come with Landons, so I swapped them out with what the store had on hand, which are a little short. So, I just ordered some longer round boot laces from Guarded Goods. Someone here has Higandy/Burgandy Mills boots with rounded laces and they look great. That’s what I’m going for…also, the round laces makes it easier to get the boots on and off.

That Landon is on fire. NASTY BLACK FIRE!! I have fallen in love with the black shell.
