I've been interested in GRP for a while but I am unsure of the sizing (described as trim on the site). Understood, there will be some give but how much can I expect? I see anywhere from a .3" to a 1" difference between sizes. Does anyone have insight/recommendations?

That doesn't really sound true to size then since the sizing advice on their website is size 6 = a slim L

EU 52 dad bod here. For reference, I go with large in IM knits, and size up to XL in Doppiaa. Just got my first GRP knit (navy wool polo) and went with a 7. I think a 6 would be just a hair too trim. 7 has just the right amount of room in the chest and mid section….

Small guy here (5'6", generally a 36S in US sizing). Size 3 is perfect.

I'm about 6'1" w/ a 41" chest and 34" waist so I would say I'm a fairly slim 52 EU and a 6 from GRP fits me quite well. I'm an L in Inis Meain as well. I don't know what it is, but I find the GRP offerings fit a bit less slim than you would think based on the posted measurements. They're certainly not sloppy and I would definitely characterize their fit as quite Italian, but there's been instances where i've been tempted to size up based on measurements, but I'm always glad that I haven't.

Morning everyone, any good alternatives to orSlow fatigues?

I really love the materal but I'm not convinced with how they fit (regular and slim). The regular army is too wide and vintage looking, rise is too long, and while I can appreciate the fit, its not something that I would wear a lot. The slim fit fatigues are perfect in the top block but they are too tapered for my liking.

Is there any good alternative with a more straight slim fit?

Thank you and have a nice day.
Ts(s) fatigues are pretty much exactly what you're looking for in terms of fit. Fabrics are usually far more interesting, too. I have a pair of linen/cotton herringbone which have been my most worn pants for 3+ years. Also have dobby linen and brushed cotton pairs and love them all.

I find GRP sizing super forgiving. I’m 5 foot 7, 150 lbs. I have pieces in size 3,4 and 5. They’re only slightly different. Don’t overthink it.

NMWA stocks a lot of international goods so when usually when they say size L they don't mean a Walmart size L. I think of size L as more of a 42/52 or even 40/50
I think European sizing, particularly Italian, often times characterize size 52 as XL. But I’ve seen it described as L as well.

For what it’s worth, I’m a solid 52R and take a VI in the GRP wool l/s polo sweaters for a nice fitted look through the shoulders and chest, and the body has just enough volume to hide my slight gut without being boxy.

Only thing is I wish the wool were a bit finer. I seem to be sensitive to wool directly on my skin, and while the polos are soft, I still feel it ever slightly so scratchy. I can deal with it, but I have wool polos from Fillippo de Laurentus that are super fine it’s like wearing cotton.

Fwiw one more GRP data point. I’m a slim EU48 and medium in most tops and Inis Meain. For GRP size III is TTS for me in the wool sweaters. I sized up to a IV for the linen polo.

I appreciate all of these comments. Everyone was very helpful and I pulled the trigger on the GRP/Casa Isaac mock neck merino/alpaca mix. I grabbed the only 8 as I'm a big dude and didn't want to risk a 7 running to slim on my shoulders/arms. I wear an XL in pretty much everything so I'm sure it will work out based on all of your feedback. Thanks all.

NMWA is addictive and I think I may have a problem. Placed an order last week for a beautiful Doppiaa chore coat. A couple days later placed another order for several items. Something else caught my eye as I was closing open tabs on my browser and placed another order about 3 minutes later and a few minutes after that same thing happened again.

Anyway, as the last 3 orders have yet to ship, should I reach out to them and have them consolidate them so they do not have to send 3 packages out?
