Although the ones you posted may be comfortable and practical (for your non-sartorial needs), they certainly aren't lookers.

those look pretty sweet too. however i am looking more for easily accessible for feet on and off. more for infantry and SWAT and anti terror group.

those look more for the General sitting in the tent in the back. he has his compass in hand and aides running his show. more time to lace up his boots.

or maybe for the goth look.

One of the pairs I own is the HRT Tactical Boots from 5.11 which I use for actually army training. Waterproof, mildly insulated, breathable, and the most comfortable footwear I have ever worn.

You can get the other versions on at 5.11 Tactical if you would like an all leather polishable toe instead, for example.

Good luck. If you can find them (esp. in an 11US) please let me know. I've found them in <8 and >12-13 but never in the normal men's size range. I've been looking for those for like 4 years now.

That's where I got mine. I wear a 10.5 in the GSG9s and size 11 in Sambas; although, I could probably wear either size in both.

Look at the sizes available - nothing between 8 and 12.5.

Darn you for posting those. I'd kill for those boots and had almost forgotten them.

That's a shame. I guess they are phasing them out for the new design.

Did you see the suede olive/tan ones the made a while back for the Originals line?

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
