I'm doing Northern Lights today. Wore this ensemble to a performance of Beethoven's Ninth at the Melbourne Concert Hall (from which we just got back). Predictably, most everyone else was wearing rags. So disrespectful to Herr Ludwig.

Villeroy & Boch? I dunno, it's probably just good marketing. I've had this set for more years than I can remember. But what I do remember is that they were heavily discounted, and big, and a nice shape, and quite reasonable quality. So I kopped.

I've also owned a few Riedel Sommelier glasses, and they are truly works of the glass-blower's art, but they also break easily.

Really nice, especially love the sunglasses. The rest could come across as a bit old-mannish (in the best possible way, but still). The glasses give it a bit of flair. Or edge, I don't know, hard to get these finer points across in a non-native tongue; just imagine "badass" in a non-douchy way. If that makes any sense.

Took a huge risk yesterday and wore a navy suit, grey tie, and brown shoes. And get this, the shirt is lavender checks on white. Pure madness.

@jcmeyer Great look and I see what you did with the painting in the 1st pic, and you just pushed me over the edge to get some suspenders regardless of having belt looks on my trousers. I am getting annoyed with belts.

Sander, IMO the width of the trews is in proportion with the rest of the suit. A heavy cloth like this needs a bit of drape and fullness.

Yeah man, I can see the aesthetic benefit of not having the belt loops but I needed all my suits to be as versatile as possible so I just had them made with both. It really doesn't bug me and I too am moving away from belts right now. DO IT!
