Deceptive merchandising. Cheaper than you think. Zegna fabric suits can be had at Marshalls and on ebay. If that's the selling point of your suits, how good can they be? That doesn't make it a Zegna suit.

Please post in the "buying and selling" forum.

And for the record, buying zegna fabric and sewing it together does not make a "Zegna suit."

Keep this post. Let it be a warning to anyone who might be susceptible to this kind of deceit.

I'm getting sick of this type of advertising deception...a ******* scam if you ask me and the seller certainly knows it.

On this guy's website if you click on "Zegna" under "Shop by Brand" you get an array of what he is obviously holding out to be Ermenegildo Zegna. When you read more about the suits it says they are made by "Coppley" in "exclusive" cloth by Ermenegildo Zegna. A lot of unscrupulous and unethical sellers try to pass off suits that are cheaply made as high-end Zegnas based on the fact that the suit is made with fabric from Zegna's mill. I'm sure these prices are based on this deception rather than the quality level of "Coppley" suits. One more seller I'll never buy from.

What's great is that he thinks that people around here lust over the likes of Zegna...

This type of deception is indeed annoying. At Filene's Basement and other discount stores, there are racks of suits with a sign above them saying "Zegna" , but made by some unknown maker with Zegna cloth, while other, genuine high end suits sit on racks nearby, properly labeled.

It's one thing to charge Ermenegildo Zegna prices for Zegna "Soft" or "Z" line clothing, but this is different story.

What does "beuller? beuller?" mean? I've been hearing it a lot lately.
