I am a huge fan of cordoroy and we usually carry a terrific collection of all types of wale. The very best we carry is made by Hertling Trousers of fabric milled by DeBall. Anyone else have consistent problems with Amex?
I pay over 1% more and it is a day or two slower in hitting my bank account. I will take amex, but if the customer asks, I will always take mc/visa I really like cash! Carl Anyways at all to get it down? They kill me on keyed transactions, which a lot of my big tickets are (phone sales.) Cash...- tgfny

What is dock attire?
I should specify that it's a dinner party too. (Who boats at night?) It's at a restaurant on a lake. The atmosphere is pretty casual, but the hosts are not necessarily. It's among a series of (mostly) black-tie events over a three-day weekend. Then I'm guessing Smails attire is appropriate.- tgfny

As much trouble as I've been having with them lately on the using the card side of things, I can't imagine how bad the other end could be. I don't know if the lesson I learned applies to merchants, but I learned to immediately ask for a supervisor if there is a problem. It's like the regular...- tgfny

I buy quality things that provide value. Own EG's, but have only bought one pair for full price. PS suits, but on sale. Custom DJ's and suits, but from a tailor on Queen St in Edinburgh, not London.
