    Ironing tips?

I have to say that ironing has always been a pain. I remember getting a top of the line Rowenta a few years back to see if it might help - it didn't help much. I wonder if the current top of the line models are any better and if I should upgrade - any feedback would be appreciated. Back to the...

Blazer vs. sport coat vs. suit

I see that your internships are 1-year away at this point. When I landed my first job out of college I went out and purchased 5 suits to wear to work. When I got to work I noticed that I was extremely overdressed for work. The dress code was business casual, and polo shirts and khakis were what...

    Resole

I used to believe that the uppers usually wear out long before a sole might ever wear out and so I questioned the usefullness of a easy resoling as a selling point when I was buying some shoes. I have later found that some of the more expensive shoes with good care and regular trips to a good...

I also avoid Polo because of the polo player logo. There are a few pieces I have considered and they have a polo player in the same color as the fabric so as to be as inconspicuous as possible. I think it detracts from the shirt and I feel that a good shirt should be able to look nice on its...

I've noticed that a lot of younger people have very short hairstyles, and as a younger person myself I succumbed to a shorter style during my last haircut, but somehow I prefer my hair now when it has grown back to medium length. What kinds of styles are we wearing now? (please indicate age or...

    7 for all mankind

Sorry to ask for yet another opinion. Any impressions of Lucky Brand Jeans? I think it also was accused of getting into the men's apparel market too quickly with similar fabrics and washes to the women's products. I saw some at Nordstrom's and I thought that although lower priced than the Sevens...

HOF: What look would you like to see stopped?

Personally, I think cargo pants and cargo jeans have been around for too long now. The same applies for the carpenter versions. I tend to cringe when I see them still being sold, and cringe even further when sales staff try to tell me that they are the "in" look.
