VBC fabric line choices for "traveler" sports coats and suits.

VBC/Drapers Ascot bunch has 2, 4, and 6-ply high twist wools. I have some grey trousers in the 4-ply and it's terrific for traveling. Very wrinkle resistant, very breathable. I know the Armoury guys recommend it very strongly.

Unfunded Liabilities: a/k/a The Cloth Thread

I don't think this has been discussed here, but seems like there's an updated Fox Air bunch coming soon: Anyone seen this updated bunch in the wild?

    Should I shorten the jacket?

The length looks right to me.

٭٭٭ No Man Walks Alone - Official Affiliate Thread ٭٭٭ (a.k.a. I shouldn't have slept on it)

Received the Doppiaa green/stripe oxford workshirt early Thursday morning… am already wearing it a second time. These are so d*** nice.

What's wrong with my MTM suit jacket?

There are SuitSupply stores in Antwerp, Brussels, and Hasselt. They can likely help you get a tux ASAP if that's what you want. There's also a Pini Parma in Brussels. Not sure if they have tuxes but I believe they have a good reputation for the same general price range.

What's wrong with my MTM suit jacket?

Where are you located? I'm sure the forum could help you locate a shop with RTW suiting that can be tailored (*smash glass in case of emergency speed*) for the event.

    Poor man's watch thread

I *think* that's for setting the alarm (the arrow hand). Really like the new Vulcain Cricket - but close to $5K is a lot for them to me. Eric Wind often has some nice vintage ones under $2K though.

    Berg and Berg

I'm 90% sure this jacket is using a fabric I've had my eye on from Maison Hellard's Heures Blues book... so this may be my pick up for this S/S. That said I never understood why places don't list where the fabric is from...

The eclipse portended good news... the natural sport chino is back in stock.

٭٭٭ No Man Walks Alone - Official Affiliate Thread ٭٭٭ (a.k.a. I shouldn't have slept on it)

I think this is only really an issue for me if I'm planning on wearing fully buttoned with a tie. I'm usually a 15.5/39 but if the cuts too slim I've often gone up to a 16/40 with no problem, assuming I'm wearing 2 buttons open anyway.

    Official Wedding Attire Question/Answer/Picture Thread

I really love The Armoury's tailoring and you can't go wrong there. That said, the Armoury tuxes were a bit expensive for me personally. Thinking about the cost per wear, I wanted to find something in a *bit* lower price range and so went with No Man Walks Alone x Sartoria Carrara.

    Drop93 - Official Affiliate Thread

Yep! Had some really nice flannel suits and some grey herringbone/glen check jackets. If it didn't all sell I imagine it will pop up on the Drop93 site in a bit.

    Drop93 - Official Affiliate Thread

Very fun! Great vendors, and from Drop93 a ton of Armoury, RJ, & Drake's stuff - plus some Liverano suits which was a surprise to me. There were some cool old Seikos as well from another vendor. Didn't pull the trigger on anything (the folks I went with grabbed some stuff) but was a nice time...

Hey @gdl203 any chance we'll be seeing a Sartoria Carrara tailoring drop for spring/summer?

Can't wait! Will we be seeing stuff not on the site @drop93hk or will it mostly be the same?

    Official Wedding Attire Question/Answer/Picture Thread

I personally really like the look of dark brown suede (derbys or oxfords) with a navy suit. To my eye, the suede makes the shoe a bit more casual so you can use them with odd trousers easily. Since it's your wedding, go with what really catches your eye/makes you excited. It's a celebration and...

The Armoury - Official Affiliate Thread

I get my Armoury 100 Hands shirts custom to account for longer arms and they can adjust one wrist size for a watch I believe! I love the conical cuff but they’re a bit too narrow for most of my watches. I’d also say the cost for MTO is basically the same as RTW and the turn around is shockingly...

    Berg and Berg

I would second the replies above. Much better than the S&M trousers, which are totally fine, but the B&B trousers feel *nice.* I've also had some issues with QC on the S&M trousers (rips, buttons falling off, etc.)
