i don't think assisi has the capacity to do more cities in china, unfortunately. speaking of assisi, i'm commissioning a double breasted peak lapel coat in a moss green loro piana fabric. really looking forward to it and highly recommend their work.

yes, based in nyc. re: assisi vs ciccio's workmanship and attention to detail: hard to say right now b/c i don't have a finished product yet. tl;dr: ciccio's attention to detail is probably higher than assisi - mostly based on taking measurements, need to look at final garments though...

This makes sense and will probably be my trajectory. Good to hear that you think highly of qemal. Re: assisi - I think you should try them. I’ve had a really good experience with them so far. The execution of my suit was really good and fit well but just a little tight (I think I gained a...

thanks for the suggestions; i'll probably stick with the jetted pockets for this commission. suit wise, i only have ready to wear suits that i only wear for events like weddings/funerals. i've only started to dabble in bespoke since june and have a charcoal suit from assisi that should be...

I want a suit that’s somewhat casual since I don’t wear suits everyday. I saw Ueki’s personal jersey blazer with patch pockets that looked great which made me consider patch pockets. I did tell him that I’d choose jetted pockets unless I change my mind.

It’s a detail in military clothes like the fishtail parka. > The fishtail design was introduced to allow a soldier to tie the bottom of the parka around the legs, thus forming a seal to prevent cold weather from reaching the body.

Received my bespoke raglan w/ fishtail from taillour. Some crappy photos of an otherwise awesome execution. Made from a 23/24 oz fox brothers merino wool with cupro bemberg lining, and horn buttons.

It’s actually not that bad. I went there for ciccio’s trunk show and initially thought it’d suck too but the rooms are clean and spacious if you get the suite, and decent for a trunk show.
