Does anyone here have personal experience with the Strabler Antique Riders Jacket from several years ago? In particular, did Visvim use alpha sizing then, instead of the numeric sizing that I'm used to? If so, would an XL likely correspond to a size 4? Did it fit relatively TTS? Thanks.- therealeeyore

Does anyone here have the grey calf derbies? If so, what belt do you wear with them? The grey calf looks like an interesting leather that should age nicely and show some brown/olive tones. My lack of a suitable belt is keeping me from giving them a try. Thanks.- therealeeyore

Thanks very much for the advice. I decided to try the size 10.5 since there was one available, and I think it is the right size. I'm looking at a pair of Skagways and would love to get some sizing advice. I know the consensus is that they run a little big. For the record, I wear a US11 for the Virgil and Armiger, but I wear a US10 in 7-hole and Grizzly (though a 10.5 might have been a slightly better fit for that one)...- therealeeyore

I really wanted to get the Cabourn chukka, but Drew at Viberg told me that it was a very small order. There were only 2 size 10s (that didn't make it onto the website) and 1 size 11. The duffle is definitely a relaxed fit. As I mentioned, I am a size 54 in everything else, but the size 52 duffle is still plenty roomy. I'm the guilty party. I just joined the forum so that I could respond to your question. Every Cabourn piece I own is a size 54, but Ian strongly advised going down. If you normally wear size 52, you really should grab the size 50 while it's available. The coat is amazing.- therealeeyore
