The Official Drakes knock-off thread - look-alikes and the producers behind Drakes

I have a few and they're absolutely worth it. Completely stable to wash/dry cycles too, more than I expected. I have one I have washed and tumble dried at least a dozen times with no shrinkage. Good to know those details when you're laying out that much money on tees that might shrink and fit...

The Official Drakes knock-off thread - look-alikes and the producers behind Drakes

Haven't tried a hiking tee but the best heavy tees I've tried are the double heavyweight tees from Wonder Looper. Probably mostly sold out at their website but they do have a number of smaller partners who stock them. https://wonderlooper.com/ They're worth every penny.

Sometimes the simplest is the best. Snuff on olive is so good. Deets on chinos? I like the material.

The Alden Buy, Sell, Trade (B/S/T) Thread

Moving these gorgeous color 8 shell Indy boots on neocork from Alden Madison on TB in size 8D US; the 2021 run, I think. Bought them new and wore them without care, just regular maintenance. Replaced the heels once locally and they did a great job. I heel strike a bit so thats a wear point for...

I have to ask, do you have a family pic of all the indys? I always find it interesting to see same boots side by side in the array of leathers and makeups. Wear these ones in good health!

Lighting sucks but you get the idea. This seasons Jungle Jacket. For sizing reference, this is the 38. I am 5'7" and athletic, usually take a 40S, but this would have swallowed me whole in a 40, IMO. This is how it'll get worn most of the time, over a t-shirt. Maybe an OCBD.

Holy crap, on 360 double leather?? That's pretty much my ideal makeup even in just regular color 8.

    The Overcoat Thread

Is that not a waxed Barbour or the like, so...not a down jacket as your quote of @DorianGreen is in reference to? I have no horse in this race at all, but I am both amused and bemused at how much @DorianGreen's comment stirred things up here.

So, I received the Jungle Jacket in olive herringbone...and it's frustratingly excellent. Quality is great and the material is both substantial but soft. The shade of green is perfect: not quite olive-y brown but not quite brighter green, typical of Drakes. it scratches everything I wanted in a...

This 100%. A part of me still dreams of having each of their major offerings in both snuff and color 8, or a rare different leather that I think befits the boot/shoe, but I honestly just find myself actually reaching for these boots and snuff or shell LHS 95% of the time. I've sold a couple...

Nah, I dont think it's too long at all. I think that sort of piece benefits from being a little large. I agree with the above. This one would look better with sleeves not rolled up.

I really like it with those pants and shoes; the whole aesthetic works. It's a gorgeous piece. It looks like it fits but hard to know without buttoning it up. As someone who mostly wears layers over only T-shirts as well (California), I sometimes find that taking my full size meant for layering...

Theyre honestly low key the most useful and versatile boots, I think. They just fly under the radar because they're simple. Don't draw attention but always look good.

If the Roy boot is your thing, take a look at the Villager Boot from Leffot. Same specs with leather soles and currently offered in shell and snuff suede. Enjoy the boots!
