Blake construction is not a sign of lower quality. There are Blake stitched shoes made to a high standard (e.g., Top-end Berluti), just as there are GY welted shoes made to a low standard (too many examples).- othertravel

The Berluti shoe thread
SC and Scafora don’t make shoes like the one above - very different aesthetic. JL has some resemblance, but looking at closer to $3K CAD for prestige. All that to say, TF has carved out a niche for itself as providing a certain type of style. Can’t say the same for a lot of other brands.- othertravel
