Exactly! That's my point in some ways about why there is usually no fan club for a particular model, like the Vendome, or the Schindler, or Molino, etc. What looks average on one face could look fantastic on another, and some look non-distinctive enough to be found in other brands. I only have...

I'll see your Vendome Camel, and raise you a Schindler Camel. (Please don't call my bluff!)

I'm trying to think now if there's a dedicated fanclub for any particular JMM model. The first that comes to mind is the GT, but for most, though not all, I think that's a fanclub for the infamous person who elevated the GT to a grail, not necessarily for the frame itself. Maybe the closest...

People just have different reactions to different frames when they wear them. I've tried the Vendome in two colorways -- black wolf (yellowstone), and Hollywood exclusive. Both were very meh to me and it was an easy pass on both. It didn't scream anything to me except uninteresting, but I...

JMM galleries (like Venice) and JMM webstore have different supply chains, so what might be sold out on online might still be found in galleries and vice versa. why not explore the authorized retailers in Vancouver? there's a bunch. bought one of my Ichikawa from Durant Sessions

The three-color gradient for the Tropic lens isn't exactly "red" though. I'd say with this specific cut it's about 25% red at the top, 50-60% orange in the middle, and 25-15% yellow. Depending on where the lens was cut on the Tropic original, it could have easily been 40+% red or more, which is...

Yes, JMM galleries sell a few gradient tints, including their "Tropic" and "Alpine" gradient tints. Both of these tints have three colors. I believe the Alpine gradient that replaced the Marlboro stock lenses have blue-grey-yellow/pink(?) though I'm not very good with identifying colors, as I...

My substantial debt and bad karma maybe? 😂 Too late anyway. Here at a beach restaurant last week are my Taos Seed with swapped out Tropic gradient lenses (courtesy of Aya at JMM Hollywood who did a fantastic job cutting the new tropic lenses just right!) followed by my crazy cocker donning...

That Sandro you call "frost" looks very similar to my Whiskeyclone Clear with Cyan lenses... Big fan of that color combo; screams "summer" on the beach, marina, or on a boat

Search secrets deleted per request 😂 [This message will self-destruct in 30 seconds to avoid others front-running me for sought after frames hidden at non-US retailers 😂]

This was my first ever JMM purchase (Aug 2023), but the RX version. Found it on eBay

fyi there are rumors of a bunch of blue frames coming up for summer release. might be worth keeping the powder dry in case you like one of them. any frame in particular you're seeking? i can check a source to see if one might be coming in a bluish tone
