    The Overcoat Thread

To get things back on track, here’s another one from my personal collection. The lining got shredded years ago (don’t ask) but one of these days I’ll take it in to get fixed. Also don’t mind the wrinkles, it’s been in storage for years. I wore the sh!t out of this coat when I lived in Chicago.

    The Overcoat Thread

Guys, it's 2024, we don't need to be arguing about overcoats. There's more pressing things to be worrying about. I appreciate everyones input on this thread.

Turns out that 3 piece tweed from the other day is from the 30s. Basically pristine too. No moth nibbles or tears, nothing. Some yellowing of the liner but that’s to be expected. Small size too!

This is from 7 years ago, so the pants are a little slim, but I think it looks good, no? That was in Chicago so it was as probably like -30 out haha. I wish I still had that parka.

That with brown Rancher pants and an ecru shirt would give a killer sleezy 70s vibe.

    The Overcoat Thread

That's not true. I think I have a pretty good sense of style and I wear lots of down coats. I'm also in Denver, so they actually do serve a purpose. I like all types of clothing though, so to each their own. I strongly believe adhering to one style or genre of clothing is boring, there's soooooo...

Had a pretty good morning one stop myself today. Vintage 3 piece tweed is the star of course. And some Thursday President boots to round out the morning

Found a good one today I thought you guys might dig. Vintage half raglan donegal with ulster collar. Missing a button but it was only $12 so I’m not complaining. 😀

My best find of the morning followed by the second best. Le creuset is 15.5 qt Dutch oven. I’ve been wanting one of these for years. The overcoat was $12 out the door. Half raglan with an ulster collar, pretty unique combo.
