You must be referring to older models, and even then, they are listed for more than what their MSRP was when new. I didn't see any current 41mm ceramic Subs for less than MSRP. I couldn't agree more. I like the bezel profile, lugs, and dial far more on the past version of the Santos Dumont. The current Santos Dumont is nice, but there isn't a version of it that I actually want to own.- Dino944

Gold is so soft that even if you have it polished, it will pick up faint hairline scratches on the polished parts very quickly. A friend of mine has this watch with a silver/white dial and he's very happy with it. I think it's a nice watch, and a good value, but probably generally not the same value retention as bigger named brands (if you are someone who sells/trades comfortably).
