    Offical Barbour Thread

A question on possible decline in quality here. I bought a thornproof Barbour Derwent in 2010 - a parka of sorts - and it's been a favorite from day one. Excellent quality and finish. For last years fall though I felt I wanted something with a collar and went for a Beaufort in sylkoil. I was...

    Morjas shoes

I wear UK9,5 in most brands, but my pair of Morjas are UK10. C&J's size guide has always puzzled me. According to that I'd be wearing UK10,5 in the 378 last, but when I tried on a pair of 378 derbies UK9,5 fit me just fine, as usual. I'm also curious if Morjas have switched to better...

Skoaktiebolaget – Enzo Bonafé, Saint Crispin’s, Löf & Tung

A most gloomy reason to wear black oxfords sadly came, very suddenly. Hadn't worn my old pair since 2010(!). Turns out my feet are now way too wide, so I had to get a new pair in haste (after christmas presents, travels and whatnot - ouch). First thought was to get a pair from Myrqvist or...

    Morjas shoes

Dainite to the left, Morjas' knockoff on the right. Bought within the same month summer 2021 and I've worn them equally frequent since. A noticable difference for sure. And as you can see, I've had to replace the Morjas heel top (did this after 10 months or so, as it was 1mm away from the...

    Morjas shoes

Worth mentioning as well is that the quality of Morjas rubber soles isn't that great. They wear out faster than Vibram and Dainite, and after some time, start to bend upwards around the edges. At least on my pair. Some cracks, although very fine, have started to show as well after 18-19 months...

True! And likewise! Can't imagine there are too many chestnut kudu plain toes walking our streets. If I spot another pair, it's a dead giveaway, hah! Thanks! A tough choice ahead of me, they're all stunners. Might have to order yet another pair later on.

16 months in godawful Gothenburg shite weather with these S last Gessis in kudu now. Worn two to three days every week except during the few hottest summer weeks. I was skeptical about the comfort insole at first, but it has molded itself perfectly over time, while providing some extra warmth...

More like half a size. But this is utah calf from Haas, perhaps suede can be stretched a tiny bit more.

I can't, no. Just looking at pics of models in the P last tells me they'd be a dreadful fit for me.

Took my Löf & Tung Cole chukkas in Utah calf out for the season. When I got them last year my right foot felt a bit pinched, but it went away with wear. When I took them on again two weeks ago the pinch was worse than when they were new. Wide flat bony feet, sigh... First thought I'd give them...

Kudu Gessis on a beautiful day off with my little daughter (post more shoe pics, people!). Been wearing them at least twice a week since I got them in september, and I’m very happy with them. Can take a good beating, very easy to condition and look better and better. Mentioned this a while a go...

Any hope for the Scott derby in mid or dark brown come spring?

My pair of kudu Gessis have stretched a bit. They fit super snug over the ball area initially, but now they’re roomier (and I could have sized 0.5 down had they been like this from the start, hah). Lovely leather though. Flexible, strong, looks fantastic.

I have Gessi in S last, size 9.5, and Cole in T last, size 9. The Gessi would have fitted me better in 9 if it was wider, but 9.5 works just fine with tongue pads and heel grips. The Cole chukka in T last size 9 is perfect length wise. A slight pinch in the right pinky toe area, but it’s slowly...
