Tricker’s have been ambiguous at worst in their marketing of the Corbett. I watched the video and I only noticed one short passage that makes a reference to modern hiking boots:Have you watched the video? That's exactly how they're being marketed.
A size 9 pair is 1.68kg.And how much do they weigh?
Tricker’s have been ambiguous at worst in their marketing of the Corbett. I watched the video and I only noticed one short passage that makes a reference to modern hiking boots:
”The Ledger made me wonder if we could still make a walking boot that would compete with modern mass production and made materials”
I see that more of a question than a claim that the boots are technically at the same level of performance. As long as you’re not wading through deep streams or snow drifts they’ll probably be good for most of your Hiking needs.
A size 9 pair is 1.68kg.
This release has clearly been divisive but Tricker’s should be commended for trying to do something new — I’d prefer seeing these over another Stow in a new leather/colour.
The edition is apparently limited to just 90 pairs – quite a few sizes are already sold out. The only thing that has stopped me acquiring a pair is the high price.
1.68kg the pair is v good. €800 is a lot.It was that, combined with the mountaineering style clips that in my view suggest them as technical hiking boots but it's all down to interpretation I guess. Either way I feel we've exhausted the Corbet chat.
