When your leather jacket is shorter than your shirt/sweater

The pic below from WAYWRN reminded me of a dilemma I've had. I have a similarly sized short leather jacket that ends right at the waist. Anything untucked will exceed the length, like his T-shirt does. Zipped or unzipped doesn't make a difference to me; Both look bad to me. So, I only wear it with tops that won't exceed the length (tucked in shirts, or short cropped T-shirts) Has anyone had the same issue? What is your resolution?

Tuck in the shirt or just don't care about it. Done both depending on my mood for the day and the world just kept on turning.

I have a short leather jacket like that and I don't care if my shirt sticks out. It's not white tie, where the waistcoat shouldn't extend below the front of the tailcoat.

A post and pre-emptive **** you to all who talk ****. I don't care if my t-shirts stick out or in - I wear them both ways and get better ass and have a better life than you do. My parquet floors have the kind of history your college professor used to boner about. Now go troll eBay for 34" leather peacoats.

Carry on.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
